Southport Weekender 2020 Crystal Palace
In 2019 we found the new home for the Southport Weekender Festival in the beautiful and historic Crystal Palace Park in South London. The festival site still bears the impressive groundworks, staircases and pillars of the palace built in 1851 Sir Joseph Paxton and burned down in 1936.
The foundations of the palace offer the perfect festival site for the event’s debut there in 2019 with memorable performances by acts including Naughty by Nature, Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Kenny Dope, Nicky Siano, DJ Spen, Matt Jam Lamont and many many more.
We strongly advise using Public Transport to travel to the venue. Crystal Palace is located in a very heavily-populated area with little or no free parking available.
The nearest Train / Bus Station is Crystal Palace, and this is located literally 5 minutes walk from the festival entrance. The station is served by London Overground and National Rail. See nationalrail.co.uk or tfl.gov.uk to plan your journey. Further info is also available in our FAQs.
